Karen Sunnenberg

Karen Sunnenberg has been a member of The Florida Bar since April 2007. She graduated from Loyola University New Orleans with a B.S. in Communications/Advertising, cum laude, in 2001. In 2004, she earned her juris doctor degree, with a certificate in Civil Law, from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law. Ms. Sunnenberg was admitted to practice law in Louisiana in 2004. From 2004 to 2005, Ms. Sunnenberg was an associate at the firm of Christine Remy & Associates in New Orleans, where she practiced primarily in the areas of divorce and child custody. In 2005, Ms. Sunnenberg returned to her hometown of Pensacola, and from 2005 to 2009 she worked for the Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller for Escambia County, in the Probate/Guardianship/Mental Health division. From 2009 to 2017, Ms. Sunnenberg was an associate at Lois B. Lepp, P.A. in Pensacola, where she practiced primarily in the areas of guardianship, probate, elder law, and estate planning. In 2017 Ms. Sunnenberg founded Karen Sunnenberg, P.A. where she continues to practice guardianship, probate, elder law, and estate planning.
